I am currently licensed in NY and NJ and am in-network with Aetna, Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health (formerly Beacon) which includes Emblem Health, GHI, and NYSHIP The Empire Plan, and Optum/United Healthcare insurances.
If I am not in-network with your insurance provider, I can offer self-pay rates and/or provide a "superbill" for you to utilize out-of-network benefits for you to possibly receive partial reimbursement (always verify with your carrier first). My fee for a 30-minute session is $100, 45-minute session is $120, and 60-minute session and initial visits are $140.
I currently only provide individual virtual (video-audio) therapy sessions at 30, 45, and 60 minutes per session. In the future, I look forward to offering group therapy services, check back for updates.
I use a HIPAA-compliant telehealth therapy platform, TherapyNotes, to conduct virtual (video-audio) therapy services. Once clients and I are connected, clients receive instructions to create an account and access the portal through TherapyNotes. If you are a current client and need to access the portal to join your session or make a payment, please see the For Clients tab.
If you are interested in being placed on my waitlist, please reach out to inquire about wait times, which may vary. We will then discuss over phone or email if we may be a good fit to work together, after which I can give you a time estimate for when we would be able to begin services. I will reach back out to you to re-confirm interest when that date arrives, and discuss next steps from there. Feel free to reach out with any specific questions.
You may cancel your appointment, with notice, outside of 24 hours in advance of the start day and time of the session without a fee.
If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of the scheduled start day and time of the session, or do not provide advanced notice (no-show) of your cancellation, you will be charged a fee of $50.
You may seek to reschedule your appointment both within and outside of the 24-hour mark during a business week (Sun-Sat) without a fee, if I am able to accommodate your reschedule request. If I am not able to accommodate the request within the requested timeframe, the late cancellation fee applies.
I also understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances happen. I offer clients 1 "freebie" during a calendar year, to use for a late cancellation within 24 hours, with notice, any time prior to the start of the session, to waive the $50 fee (*does not apply to a no-show, as I mark an appointment status around the start time*).
Please kindly give notice when you are running late. You may call, text, or email me providing notice. If possible, please let me know your estimated new session start-time so we can plan accordingly.
Before beginning working together, I will confirm communication preferences. If you are running late to a session and I don't hear from you, I will reach out using your communication preference at 5 minutes after the session start time. At 10 minutes after the session start time, I will give you a call unless you explicitly indicate not preferring phone calls (you can change communication preferences at any time). If you opt out of calls I will reach out again using your preferred method of communication. I will then wait until 15 minutes after the start time before an appointment is a no-show, if I don't hear from you.
Please try to be on time for sessions and communicate barriers to being on time so we can work together on scheduling.
Different telehealth therapy offices provide video-audio options over different platforms. I use a platform offered by TherapyNotes. I'll help you with setting up your account to utilize the portal to access the video session. Once our appointment day and time comes, log into the portal (link in For Clients tab), click on the appointment for the corresponding date and time on the main page, allow access to camera and microphone, and join after your video previews. You will enter a waiting room. When we are able to mutually start the session I will let you in, and we will begin the session.
